A well-established and highly regarded crèche in County Mayo is seeking Early Years Educators (Level 6+) to join its long-standing, supportive team. This is a centre known for stability, strong collaboration, and a warm environment where educators can genuinely grow and develop their careers.

Depending on your experience, you may join as an Early Years Educator or, if you bring additional leadership background, as a Room Leader.

Your Role

You will be part of a committed team providing high-quality early childhood education to children aged 2 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a play-based, emergent curriculum.
• Create a warm, safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Carry out observations, assessments, and required documentation.
• Support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-prepared classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.

If you bring additional experience, you may also:

• Coordinate the preschool room and daily routines.
• Support and guide the team of educators.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Early Childhood Education qualification – Level 6 or above (required).
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and curriculum frameworks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, patient, and professional approach.
• All required background checks as per regulations.
