What makes this role different?

This isn't a traditional Financial Controller/Manaager position focused on month-end, payroll and transactional accounting.

With bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and statutory compliance managed externally, your focus will be firmly on adding value to the business through commercial finance, analysis and operational partnership.

You'll work alongside operational leaders, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities and make better business decisions.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for:

• Partnering with operational managers to improve business performance.
  




• Providing meaningful financial analysis and commercial insight.
  




• Leading budgeting and forecasting across the business.
  




• Developing KPIs, dashboards and management reporting.
  




• Identifying trends, opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  




• Supporting strategic planning and business growth.
  




• Presenting financial information to senior leadership.
  

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  




• Is currently working as a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant or Commercial Finance Manager.
  




• Wants to take the next step into a Financial Controller position.
  




• Enjoys working with people and influencing decisions.
  




• Is commercially minded with strong analytical skills.
  




• Can confidently challenge and support non-finance stakeholders.
  




• Thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
