Grocery Assistant Manager

• Previous management experience is essential within a grocery retail setting 
  


• Strong team leading skills
  


• Be able to work in both a team and on their own initiative. 
  


• Have a strong understanding of the local market, consumer behaviour and emerging trends in the store industry 
  


• Have strong communication skills
  


• Be able to multi task
  


• Knowledge of store budgets such as staff wages or waste, and some financials of the store 
  

• Support the store manager in leading and managing the team. Which involves training and onboarding new staff, scheduling and coordinating work shifts, provide work performance feedback
  


• Open and close the store, cash handling, inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  


• Support staff in training and development
  


• Support staff in reaching store targets
  


• Deliver excellent customer service
