Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Director to lead the development and growth of their Corporate Finance service offering. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the senior partnership team, with responsibility for shaping strategy, driving business development, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in positioning our client as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurial and mid-market businesses across Ireland and the international market.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and grow the Corporate Finance team, define long-term growth strategies with senior leadership, and represent the Irish entity within the firm’s global network.
Lead buy-side and sell-side mandates, including private equity and cross-border transactions, overseeing deal structuring, valuations, due diligence, negotiations, and execution.
Provide board-level advice and high-quality deliverables such as financial modelling, investor materials, and presentations to drive strategic decision-making and maximise client value.
Build relationships with corporates, investors, and intermediaries; originate and convert new business opportunities; and enhance the firm’s market presence through thought leadership and industry engagement.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and best practice in client service.
Candidate Profile
Proven track record in Corporate Finance at Director or Senior Manager level, ideally within a professional services or advisory firm.
Significant experience leading transactions, including M&A, private equity, and fundraising for mid-market clients.
Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence, coupled with the ability to deliver clear, commercial advice at board level.
Established network of corporate, investor, and intermediary relationships in the Irish and/or international markets.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to originate deals and grow a practice area.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and leading teams.
Reporting
Reports directly to the CEO.
Works closely with the senior partnership team across the Irish base and the company's wider global network.
