Health & Safety Supervisor — Civil Engineering & Building — Limerick — Permanent

We're hiring on behalf of a long-established Munster contractor working across civil engineering, building, demolition and environmental projects for public and private clients. Two positions available.

The role: Front-line safety, on site every day. You support the H&S Manager and keep standards where they should be — in person, not by email.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Daily site safety inspections, recording findings and escalating what you can't close out
• Delivering inductions, toolbox talks and briefings
• Monitoring RAMS compliance and challenging unsafe practice as it happens
• Checking permits, plant certification and operator competence
• Supporting incident investigation and keeping records accurate
• Helping prepare for client and HSA inspections

What we need:

• 2+ years' H&S experience on Irish construction or civils sites
• H&S qualification — Certificate, Diploma or NEBOSH General Certificate
• Sound knowledge of the Construction Regulations
• Confidence to challenge senior trades and subcontractors
• Safe Pass and full clean driving licence

Nice to have:

• Demolition or environmental site experience
• Manual Handling Instructor
• First Aid Responder

The reality of the role: This is a boots-on-the-ground job. You'll spend your day walking the site, not sitting in the cabin — and you'll need the backbone to stop something when it needs stopping.
