Job Description

This is a home care role – You will be visiting and supporting clients in their own homes in Navan.

What is Home Care?

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support people in their own homes, helping them stay independent and live with dignity in their community.
You are not based in a hospital or nursing home; you travel from home to home within your local area.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  
• Hositing, Patient Moving & Handling
  
• Helping with meals and feeding support
  
• Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
  
• Light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, etc.)
  
• Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
  
• Accurately following and documenting care plans
  
• Encouraging independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  

Requirements

• What You’ll Need:
  
• We welcome both new and experienced carers who have:
  
• QQI Level 5 modules in:
  
• Care Skills or Healthcare Support
  
• Care of the Older Person
  
• Patient Moving & Handling Certificate ( we can provide training)
