Earnings & Benefits

Typical Annual Earnings Potential: Up to €59,670 Gross

Based on a standard working pattern:

• €17.00 per hour


• 45-hour basic working week


• 15 hours overtime available per week paid at 1.5x (€25.50 per hour)


• Daily tax-free subsistence allowance of €19.75


• Accommodation available at €100 per week


• 20 days annual leave


• Pension scheme in line with Irish government auto-enrolment requirements

Indicative Earnings

• Basic annual salary: €39,780


• Annual earnings including overtime: €59,670


• Tax-free subsistence payments: €4,740 per year


• Estimated take-home pay: approximately €956 per week


• Estimated annual net earnings: approximately €49,740

Actual earnings will depend on hours worked, tax status and individual circumstances.

Essential Requirements

• EU/UK Citizen or existing legal right to work in Ireland


• Valid HGV Licence (Category CE / Code 14)


• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card


• Minimum 3 years' experience operating Artic and Tipper trucks


• Intermediate English (B1/B2) suitable for workplace communication and interviews


• Good understanding of road safety and construction site procedures

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Artic Drivers with Tipper experience to join a busy quarry and construction haulage operation in County Kerry.

This role primarily involves short-haul and site-based transport work rather than long-distance haulage.

Responsibilities

• Operate Artic and Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently


• Transport aggregates, stone and construction materials between sites


• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting


• Comply with Driver CPC, tachograph and road transport regulations


• Follow quarry and construction site safety procedures


• Work closely with dispatchers, supervisors and site personnel


• Support operational requirements including overtime when required
