HGV Mechanic

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy and growing transport and logistics operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic looking for long -term, stable employment within a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV vehicles and trailers
  
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
  
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  
• Ensure all work is completed to high safety and compliance standards
  
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
  
• Work closely with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime
  

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician
  
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  
• Relevant mechanical qualification preferred
  
• Experience with diagnostics equipment an advantage
  
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
  
• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland
