Salary: €50,000+ per annum

About the Role

LS Professional Placements is recruiting an experienced Industrial Electrician on behalf of a leading lifting equipment specialist operating along the M7 corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician seeking long-term stability, ongoing training, and strong career prospects within a well-established organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment across a variety of customer sites.

Essential Requirements

• Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland and currently based in Ireland


• SOLAS-qualified Electrician (essential)


• Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) with Safe Electric


• Full clean Irish driving licence


• Minimum 3 years' industrial electrical experience


• Experience working with lifting equipment, cranes, hoists, or similar machinery


• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment


• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults


• Conduct routine inspections and safety testing


• Complete inspection reports and upload documentation accurately


• Maintain detailed service records and job documentation


• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes where required


• Ensure compliance with company and industry health and safety standards


• Represent the company professionally while working on client sites

Qualifications & Experience

• SOLAS Electrical Qualification


• Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) certification


• Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial electrical environment


• Experience with lifting equipment highly advantageous


• Strong knowledge of electrical fault diagnosis and repair


• Excellent organisational and communication skills
