Our client, within the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking to appoint an Insurance & Risk Specialist to support the management of its group -wide insurance and risk programmes. The organisation operates significant infrastructure assets within a complex operational environment, requiring strong governance, risk oversight, and effective insurance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the placement and renewal of the organisation’s insurance programmes, ensuring appropriate coverage, cost control, and alignment with risk appetite.
Manage the end -to -end insurance claims process, liaising with insurers, brokers, legal advisors, and internal teams while maintaining accurate claims records and reporting.
Support the organisation’s enterprise risk management framework, including maintaining risk registers and preparing risk dashboards for senior management.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the organisation’s Business Continuity Management processes and plans.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while monitoring market developments and emerging risks relevant to the sector.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of three years’ experience in insurance, risk management, or business continuity roles.
Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of insurance markets and risk management practices, ideally within infrastructure, utilities, or energy environments.
Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external advisors.
Strong analytical and reporting capability, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
