IT Auditor

A well know semi state corporate are looking to hire an IT Auditor to join their multi -disciplinary audit team. The successful candidate will deliver a portfolio of audit assignments focused on technology and data across the group and enterprise services. The technology audit function delivers a risk -based IA programme that is focused on providing assurance to the board.

Role responsibilities include:

• Delivering multiple internal audit assignments to an agreed plan and standard
  
• Lead the delivery of individual complex technology audits as a subject matter expert 
  
• Advance the use of Data Analytics in Group Internal Audit 
  
• Build relationships with key business and technology stakeholders through effective communication and influencing
  
• Manage quality through delivery of a professional audit service by adhering to existing standards, maturing existing processes and ensuring use of best practice industry methodologies 
  
• Communicate issues in a concise, accurate and professional manner for GIA management and escalate blocking issues when appropriate. 
  
• Collaborate and work closely with peers in GIA to ensure efficient and effective delivery of GIA’s overall audit schedule 
  

Requirements

The Person:

• Qualification in IT auditing and or technology risk management 
  
• Excellent understanding of IT and cybersecurity governance, technology risk management & compliance and IT project programme delivery
  
• Understanding of best practice technology audit frameworks & technology risk management
  
• Professional experience working in an audit function with a focus on IT
  
• Ability to plan and organise work at scale in a methodical way to deliver to required timescales and quality 
  
• Experience in using Data Analytics as part of audit process 
  
• Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships, strong problem solving and analytical capability
