Java Developer (Mid\-Level) – Dublin (Hybrid)

If you're a Java Developer in Dublin who enjoys working on real production systems — understanding how they work, fixing issues, and improving them — this role could be a strong fit. This is not a graduate role & we will only consider applications from proper Java Developers who are legal to work in Ireland & have 4+ years of commercial Java experience.

We are hiring on behalf of a Dublin\-based development team looking to add a Java Developer to their group.

This role sits within an established software engineering environment and involves a mix of Java development and Java application support. You’ll work on existing services, investigate production issues, and contribute to improving and maintaining core Java applications.

It’s well suited to a mid\-level Java Developer who enjoys debugging complex systems, improving reliability, and working closely with a team supporting live applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java\-based applications and services
  


• Investigate and troubleshoot issues within production Java systems
  


• Support and improve existing services and application components
  


• Work with the engineering team on enhancements and releases
  


• Participate in code reviews and follow established development practices
  


• Contribute to maintaining stable and reliable production systems
