About the Opportunity

An established and highly respected franchised vehicle dealership is seeking an experienced Senior Master Technician to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Master Technician who is looking to progress into a senior workshop leadership position. The successful candidate will work closely with the current technical leadership team and will be developed to ultimately assume responsibility as the workshop's Head Master Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics and complex fault-finding.


• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.


• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hybrid, and EV systems.


• Complete warranty repairs and technical reports.


• Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians.


• Assist with quality control and final vehicle inspections.


• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.


• Liaise with service advisors and management regarding technical issues.


• Support workshop productivity, efficiency, and technical standards.


• Develop into the workshop's lead technical expert.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Motor Technician with recognised trade qualifications.


• Minimum 10 years experience working with Kia or Hyundai vehicles.


• Advanced diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills.


• Experience working with manufacturer diagnostic systems.


• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle technologies.


• Experience with hybrid and/or electric vehicles.


• Full driving licence.


• Good English communication skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Master Technician certification from a recognised vehicle manufacturer.


• Previous senior diagnostic technician experience.


• Experience mentoring or training workshop staff.


• Hybrid and EV certifications.


• Supervisory or workshop leadership experience.
