Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a medical device engineering company based in Limerick who specialize in manufacturing precision components are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

• Support new product introductions (NPI) by participating in design reviews and providing manufacturability feedback.

• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred (internships and co-op experiences will be considered).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
