Marketing Manager - Retail

You will own the marketing strategy and calendar, brand management, digital marketing, CRM, social media and retail marketing. You will also manage external agency relationships and help build greater in-house marketing capability over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy and annual marketing calendar, aligned with key retail trading periods and business objectives.
  
  


• Plan and manage integrated campaigns across digital, social, CRM, e-commerce, point-of-sale and the retail store network.
  
  


• Take ownership of the brand and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  
  


• Lead marketing for new store openings, relocations and refits, including branding, POS, signage, launch campaigns and local marketing.
  
  


• Manage external agencies and partners across Google Ads, Meta, SEO and PPC, ensuring spend delivers measurable commercial value.
  
  


• Own and develop the CRM and customer retention strategy, including Klaviyo, email/SMS campaigns, segmentation and automated customer journeys.
  
  


• Lead the social media and content strategy and manage the team member responsible for social and content.
  
  


• Work closely with the E-Commerce team to drive website traffic, conversion and online revenue.
  
  


• Manage the marketing budget and track performance, including ROI, ROAS, customer acquisition and CRM metrics.
  
  


• Use customer, competitor and sales data to spot new opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
  
  


• Identify marketing activity currently handled externally that could be brought in-house.
  
  


• Lead and develop the marketing team while staying directly involved in campaign delivery when needed.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience as a Marketing Manager or Marketing Executive 
  
  


• Demonstrable experience managing, or taking significant ownership of, a marketing function
  
  
  


• Strong hands-on campaign management experience
  
  


• Experience managing external digital or marketing agencies
  
  


• Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, SEO, PPC and wider digital marketing
  
  


• Experience with Klaviyo or a comparable CRM/email marketing platform
  
  


• Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring return on investment
  
  


• Strong knowledge of both organic and paid social media
  
  


• Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into action
  
  


• Excellent organisation, communication and project-management skills
  
  

Desirable

• Experience in retail, e-commerce, fashion, footwear or another consumer-focused business
