The Vet Office is recruiting two Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeons for a busy and progressive veterinary clinic located in Castlebar, County Mayo.

These positions offer an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice with a strong farm animal client base while maintaining an active small animal caseload.

The Role

The caseload is approximately:

• 70% Large Animal
• 30% Small Animal

Large Animal Work Includes

• TB testing.
• Herd health planning and preventative medicine.
• Routine and emergency care of cattle and sheep.
• Farm visits and client support.
• Production animal medicine and health management.

Small Animal Work Includes

• General consultations.
• Vaccinations and preventative healthcare.
• Routine surgeries and neutering.
• Dental procedures.
• Diagnostic workups and case management.
• Medical and surgical follow-up care.

Candidate Profile

• Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Ireland.
• Mixed practice experience preferred.
• New graduates with strong farm animal experience may also be considered.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and client-focused attitude.
