Job Description:

MS&T Process Chemist

At Ipsen, we’re committed to making a real impact every day for patients and society. We are currently offering a 9-month fixed-term contract opportunity within our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) team, where you’ll apply your chemistry expertise to support and optimise API manufacturing processes in a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly contribute, take ownership, and drive technical outcomes from day one.

What you’ll do

• Provide synthetic chemistry expertise to support development, scale-up and optimisation of peptide APIs

• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements across development and commercial manufacturing

• Lead and support investigations into process events, including root cause analysis and CAPAs

• Review technical data and produce clear, high-quality reports

• Ensure compliant documentation in line with GxP and data integrity principles

• Support process validation activities, including protocol and report generation

What you’ll bring

• Strong synthetic chemistry experience within a regulated pharmaceutical or API environment

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues

• Experience supporting process optimisation, validation, and transfer activities

• Strong data analysis, reporting, and documentation skills

• Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple activities

• Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work cross-functionally
