Location: North Dublin
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD/BIM Technician to join a building contractor based in North Dublin. The role involves producing technical drawings, developing BIM models and supporting project teams in the delivery of residential and commercial construction projects.
Produce and update 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models.
Prepare construction, setting-out and as-built drawings.
Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
Liaise with site teams, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
Maintain drawing registers, revisions and project documentation.
Assist with BIM coordination, clash detection and technical queries.
Carry out site visits to verify dimensions and construction details.
Qualification in CAD, BIM, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience in a construction or building contractor environment.
Knowledge of construction drawings, building regulations and BIM processes.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
