FT Workforce is looking for a motivated and ambitious Recruiter to join our Carlow team, working alongside four experienced recruiters.

This is a fast-paced recruitment role focused primarily on temporary construction labour hire. We supply excavator operators, labourers, tradespeople and other construction workers to clients across throughout Ireland.

This is a hands-on recruitment and business development position. You will be responsible for both winning new clients and attracting candidates to meet the needs of our growing client base.

Your day will involve making sales calls to prospective clients, sourcing and registering candidates, managing placements and building strong long-term relationships.

Construction industry knowledge is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Making daily sales calls to generate new business


• Making candidate calls to attract and register new workers


• Sourcing candidates through various channels


• Interviewing and screening applicants


• Registering suitable candidates


• Coordinating workers and client requirements


• Managing temporary placements


• Building strong relationships with clients and candidates


• Working towards daily, weekly and monthly targets


• Growing your own client and candidate network

Recruitment experience is not essential. We will provide full training.

Experience in construction, hardware, sales or a related industry would be an advantage.
