Snagger / Handyman

Location: Athlone, Co. Westmeath
Rate: €27 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

FT Workforce, a leading construction-focused recruitment agency, is currently recruiting for an experienced Snagger / Handyman for a new housing project in Athlone, County Westmeath.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing snagging and finishing works on new homes ahead of handover, along with general maintenance, repairs and finishing works on site.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Completing snagging and finishing works on newly constructed homes

  
  


• 
  

  Identifying and rectifying defects prior to handover

  
  


• 
  

  General maintenance and repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Carpentry, patching, decorating and other general finishing works

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

  
  


• 
  

  Working efficiently to meet project deadlines

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Good all-round trade or construction background

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in snagging, maintenance or finishing works

  
  


• 
  

  Valid Safe Pass

  
  


• 
  

  Full Irish driving licence

  
  


• 
  

  Own transport is essential

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship

  
  


• 
  

  Ideally based in or around the Athlone area
