Responsibilities

• Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition, including straightening frames and replacing or repairing panels.
• Use specialized tools and equipment such as welders, grinders, and paint sprayers to complete repairs.
• Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine the necessary repair procedures.
• Work closely with insurance companies and clients to assess repair needs and provide accurate estimates.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and time taken.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of repairs.

• Proven experience as a panel beater or in vehicle body repair.
• Proficiency with welding, grinding, and other metalworking tools.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body structures and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in vehicle body repair is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
