Project Manager

ID Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager working for a large mechanical fabrication and manufacturing company with large ongoing projects based in Kildare and Dublin. 

Duties and responsibilities include;

• Overseeing and managing QEHS on designated site(s),
  


• Management of Junior Project Managers, Foremen, Site staff,
  


• Managing relationships with Contractors, Subcontractors, Consultants, Clients and end customers. 
  


• Problem solving and decision-making in collaboration with management on site matters,
  


• Planning of resources, labour, materials and subcontractors in collaboration with the Contracts Manager. 
  


• Management of materials and supplies on site in safe and secure manner,
  


• Delivering projects on within allocated timelines and budgets.
  


• Working closely with project design and manufacturing teams, 
  


• Maintaining site documentation,
  


• Holding regular meetings with management team to discuss and monitor progress of projects,
  


• Submitting weekly status reports to management team 
  
  5 years experience in construction with 2 years experience in a leadership/project management position. Qualification or Equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  HVAC or mechanical experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skills,
  Strong problem solving skills. 
  Abilty to manage and lead a team.
  

Requirements

• 5 years experience in construction with 2 years experience in a leadership/project management position. 
  

• Qualification or Equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
  


• HVAC or mechanical experience desirable
  


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
  


• Strong problem solving skills.
  


• Excellent leadership and team motivational skills
