Job Description - Project Manager - Construction - Cork city

Role: Project Manager

Client: Leading Main Contractor

Projects: Vary from commercial, to pharma and residential

Essentials: 7+ years' construction experience ; Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar ; Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial or industrial projects ; Strong commercial, programme and stakeholder management skills.

Location: Projects in and around Cork city

Salary: €80,000 - €100,000

Package: Company car, pension, learning & development and more.

Reporting into: Contracts Manager

Lead the delivery of a major commercial construction project from inception through to completion.

Manage and motivate the project team, driving performance across safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key project stakeholders.

Oversee project planning, sequencing and programme management to ensure milestones and completion dates are achieved.

Drive a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture across the project.

Manage procurement, subcontractor packages and supplier appointments in line with project requirements.

Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets, manage costs and maximise project performance.

Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and progress updates while leading client and project review meetings.
