Senior Civil Project Manager

Location: Galway (or alternatively Dublin)

Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office).



About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing and ambitious infrastructure construction company, with offices across Ireland. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager (with a civil / structural engineering background) to join their Galway office, or alternatively Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment on diverse public and private projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects as a client-facing Project Manager, ensuring successful delivery.

  • Contribute to innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.

  • The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.


Project Management / Leadership

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion.

  • Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.

  • Financial management of project delivery.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates.

  • Review and approve engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.

  • Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).


Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Support business growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and tender documentation.

  • Identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic planning.




Qualifications & Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership.

  • Experience managing projects from commencement to handover.

  • Good communication skills and can prioritise and manage workload effectively.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
