Radiographer - FTC

Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental competency frameworks while maintaining high standards of imaging practice.

Participate in the on-call service as required to support continuous radiology services.

Ensure compliance with radiation protection principles including justification, optimisation (ALARA), and dose limits, in line with relevant legislation and safety standards.

Conduct routine equipment checks and participate in quality assurance procedures, reporting any faults or issues to the appropriate senior staff.

Follow departmental protocols and the guidance of senior radiology staff to ensure safe and effective service delivery.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiographic techniques and developments through ongoing training and continued professional development.

Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the department and adhere to infection prevention and control procedures.

Comply with all health and safety regulations and promptly report any hazards or incidents that may affect safety.

Provide a high-quality patient-focused service, treating all patients with respect, dignity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams while supporting quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
