Registrar in Dermatology

Our client invites applications for the position of Dermatology Registrar within a dynamic and progressive dermatology service in Ireland.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient dermatology care, participating in teaching, clinical audit, and service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dermatology care under consultant supervision

• Assess and manage outpatient and inpatient dermatology referrals

• Participate in on-call and acute dermatology services as required

• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives

• Support undergraduate and postgraduate medical education

Essential Requirements

• Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or eligibility for registration

• Minimum of 2 years’ postgraduate clinical experience

• Previous experience in dermatology desirable

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Desirable Criteria

• Membership examinations (MRCP/MRCPI or equivalent)

• Evidence of audit, research, or teaching experience

• Commitment to career progression in dermatology
