Fraud Review Specialist - 6 month contract

What’s the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Fraud Review Specialist to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis for 6 months. In this role, you will play a key role in protecting our platform and users from fraud by reviewing flagged accounts, identifying emerging fraud patterns and providing feedback to improve our internal fraud detection systems. As a Fraud Review Specialist you’ll be embedded in the Customer Experience team and work closely with our fraud and data science teams, gaining and sharing insights on fraud activity on the platform.

What will I be doing

• Reviewing flagged accounts using predefined criteria to identify fraudulent activity

• Providing structured feedback to fraud and data science teams to improve fraud detection systems

• Conducting proactive reviews across marketplace sections to detect emerging fraud patterns

• Responding to fraud alerts and acting swiftly to mitigate risks

• Assisting users and law enforcement agencies with fraud related requests

• Maintaining accuracy and strong output in all fraud review activities

What skills and experience do I need

• High attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes and procedures

• Familiarity with online platforms and awareness of common fraud techniques

• Technical proficiency, a basic understanding of algorithm-driven systems and tools like Excel, Tableau or similar

• Strong analytical and decision making skills, with the ability to spot emerging fraud trends and patterns

• Experience with fraud detection, customer support or data analysis is a plus but not essential.
