Job Description - Restaurant Manager F/M


We are currently recruiting an experienced Restaurant Manager for a charming independent 4-star boutique hotel located on the stunning west coast of Ireland.

The property is renowned for its exceptional hospitality, award-winning fine dining restaurant and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience. Welcoming both Irish and international guests, it offers an intimate working environment where attention to detail, teamwork and genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything.

The restaurant serves refined seasonal cuisine using high-quality local produce and has built an excellent reputation within Ireland's culinary scene. Alongside the evening fine dining experience, the hotel also offers a relaxed dining service, afternoon tea and an extensive wine programme.

As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, lead and develop the front-of-house team, ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and work closely with the Executive Chef and senior management. You will also play a key role in the management of the wine programme, staff training and the continuous improvement of service standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager.
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel, boutique hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Experience working in the UK or Ireland is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage service.
  • Excellent wine knowledge and confidence advising guests on wine pairings.
  • WSET Level 2 or Level 3 is an advantage.
  • Outstanding leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Financial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets.
  • Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • EU passport or valid permission to work in Ireland.

  • Salary between â‚¬40,000 and €44,000 per year, depending on experience.
