Overview

embs. energy is working in partnership with a leading global engineering and technical services business that is scaling its Protection & Controls capability across Ireland. With major transmission frameworks active and a secured, multi-year pipeline of work, our client is seeking a Senior Associate Director to provide strategic leadership across programmes.

This is a senior leadership appointment inside one of the strongest framework positions in the transmission market, at a genuine growth moment.

Responsibilities

Off the back of an unusually strong framework position and continued growth, our client is seeking a Senior Associate Director to provide strategic leadership across its Protection & Controls programmes.

As a Senior Associate Director, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple programmes, lead major bids, and govern delivery across the portfolio. You will set technical direction and standards for P&C design, working within the requirements of the relevant grid bodies, including EirGrid and ESB Networks, and support the continued growth of a capability that is being actively built out.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive transmission design experience at 400kV — gained on major grid or network programmes rather than in commissioning — typically underpinned by Chartered Engineer status, a design-led P&C background, and a strong record of programme leadership and bid governance.
