Cork, Dublin or Belfast | Site Based | Highly Competitive Salary + Generous Benefits | Excellent Career Prospects
Flowtech is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Senior Commercial & Sales Analyst to help us understand not only how our sales operation is performing today – but where our greatest opportunities for future growth lie.
This is a highly visible role combining commercial analysis, sales performance, forecasting, pipeline management and strategic insight.
We want someone who can get underneath the numbers, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and provide the commercial insight that helps our sales teams and senior leadership make better decisions.
You'll work closely with Sales and senior leadership to build a clear picture of performance across customers, territories, products and opportunities.
But reporting what has already happened is only part of the job.
We want you to help answer the bigger questions:
Where is the untapped potential within our existing customer base?
Which areas, products or markets offer the greatest opportunity for future growth?
Where are opportunities being lost – and why?
Are we focusing our sales resources in the right places?
What can our pipeline tell us about future performance?
Where could changes to pricing, margin, process or sales activity deliver a better result?
Your analysis will help turn commercial information into clear, practical actions.
Your remit will include:
Analysing sales performance across customers, products and territories
Identifying trends, gaps and opportunities for profitable growth
Providing meaningful commercial insight and recommendations to leadership
Monitoring sales activity and ensuring actions are followed through
Improving pipeline visibility, management and forecasting discipline
Analysing conversion rates, revenue trends and sales productivity
Supporting territory planning and allocation of sales resources
Working with Commercial, Product and Finance around pricing and margin optimisation
Developing and maintaining meaningful dashboards, KPIs and management reporting
Improving the quality and use of CRM information
Identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending scalable solutions
Supporting initiatives designed to improve sales productivity and customer experience
Helping ensure commercial decisions are supported by accurate, timely data
We're interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:
Commercial Analysis | Sales Operations | Revenue Operations | Business Analysis | Sales Performance | Commercial Finance | Business Intelligence
You don't necessarily need to come from exactly the same industry.
What matters is that you can combine analytical ability with genuine commercial judgement.
You'll be someone who can look at a set of figures and see the questions behind them.
Someone confident enough to challenge.
Someone persistent enough to investigate.
And someone commercially minded enough to turn analysis into recommendations that people can actually use.
You'll ideally bring:
Strong commercial and analytical experience
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working with CRM and sales reporting systems
An understanding of sales pipelines, forecasting and performance metrics
The ability to create clear, meaningful reports and dashboards
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Confidence presenting insight and recommendations to senior colleagues
The ability to work across Sales, Finance, Operations and other functions
A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools would be particularly useful.
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, distribution, industrial products or a technical B2B environment would also be advantageous – as would being naturally mechanically minded.
This is an opportunity to take a role where your analysis can have a direct impact on commercial decision-making and sales growth.
You'll work across the business, gaining visibility with senior leadership while developing a detailed understanding of customers, markets, products and commercial performance.
Flowtech offers an environment where talented people can develop, take on greater responsibility and build their careers.
For someone with ambition, this role could provide a natural platform towards future opportunities within Commercial Management, Sales Operations Leadership, Business Intelligence, Strategy or wider Sales Leadership.
In return, we offer a highly competitive salary, generous benefits package and excellent opportunities for continued career development.
The position can be based at our Cork, Dublin or Belfast site.
Please note that this is a site-based position and is not a hybrid role.
If you're commercially curious, analytically strong and enjoy finding the opportunity that others haven't yet spotted, we'd like to hear from you.
Don't just report the numbers. Help shape what happens next.
