Job Description - Senior Cost Planner - Construction

Role: Senior Cost Planner
Client: Leading Residential Developer
Essentials: 7+ years' post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management with a Developer or PQS in Ireland, proficiency in Buildsoft-Cubit, Cost-X.
Location: Office based in Central Dublin
Salary: €90,000
Package: Pension; Bonus (10%- 15%); Car Allowance; Income Protection; Life Assurance; Health Insurance & more.
Reporting to: Head of Cost Planning

Our client a leading residential developer are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Planner to join their dynamic team in Central Dublin. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, providing cost planning expertise from early feasibility through to detailed planning stages.

Prepare cost plans from early feasibility to detailed planning, ensuring smooth handover to project teams

Participate in design team meetings, offering cost advice to maintain financial viability without compromising design.

Ensure design teams consider efficient unit types, layouts, and building materials during scheme design progression.

Liaise with project delivery teams to ensure robust construction budgets for upcoming developments.

Collaborate with sales teams to align specifications and budgets with market expectations.

Take off quantities to create Bills of Quantities for developments, providing site teams with working documents and budgets.
