This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role, focused on long-term technical ownership. \n\nWhat we offer \n\n * Work on a portfolio of client-side applications, including consumer facing products used by millions of users worldwide. \n\n\n\n\n * A collaborative engineering environment that values technical ownership, clarity, and longterm maintainability. \n\n\n\n\n * Modern development workflows, including automation and CI/CD. \n\n\n\n\n * Opportunities to grow through deep technical ownership, mentoring, and senior level technical leadership. \n\n\n\n\n * Flexibility to apply your skills across different applications as products, platforms, and technologies evolve. \n\n\n\n\nWhat you will do \n\n * Spend the majority of your time designing, implementing, and reviewing production quality code. \n\n\n\n\n * Own and lead the technical design and implementation of complex features or sub-systems across client applications. \n\n\n\n\n * Take end-to-end ownership of assigned technical areas, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and longterm support. \n\n\n\n\n * Make independent technical decisions while balancing quality, performance, reliability, and delivery. \n\n\n\n\n * Build and maintain automated tests at multiple levels to ensure confidence in changes and system stability. \n\n\n\n\n * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows to support predictable, high quality delivery. \n\n\n\n\n * Collaborate closely with QA, product, design, and other engineering teams. \n\n\n\n\n * Provide hands-on mentoring through code reviews, pairing, and technical discussions. \n\n\n\n\n * Contribute to raising team-wide engineering standards and a strong engineering culture. \n\n\n\n\nWhat you bring \n\nRequired \n\n * Strong professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining production quality applications. \n\n\n\n\n * Hands-on experience with C# and modern object oriented design, including ownership of complex features or sub-systems over time. \n\n\n\n\n * Familiarity with Universal Windows Platform (UWP). \n\n\n\n\n * Experience building Windows desktop or platform-level applications. \n\n\n\n\n * Understanding of C++, with the ability to read, debug, or collaborate around native components when needed. \n\n\n\n\n * Experience owning software end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and longterm support. \n\n\n\n\n * Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions, and balance quality, performance, and delivery trade-offs. \n\n\n\n\n * Experience collaborating effectively with QA, product, and design partners in a cross-functional engineering environment. \n\n\n\n\n * Clear communication skills and the ability to mentor other engineers through code reviews and day-to-day collaboration. \n\n\n\n\nNice to have \n\n * Interest in modern Windows application development and platform evolution, including WinUI and Windows SDK based approaches. \n\n\n\n\n * Experience working on applications or systems that evolve over time, including architectural or platform transitions. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nDolby Hiring Entity:\n\n77 Sir John Rogerson\u0027s Quay, Block C \nGrand Canal Docklands \nDublin D02 VK60Ireland\n
