Job Description - Senior Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Projects

Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Client: Irish-owned Construction Consultancy
Essentials: 5+ years of Quantity Surveying/Cost Management experience with a PQS or Developer in Ireland
Location: Dublin 4
Salary: €65,000 - €90,000
Package: Bonus (10%); pension; paid subscriptions; phone & laptop; hybrid working
Reporting to: Senior Management

This esteemed Irish-owned construction consultancy practice is renowned for delivering a full spectrum of services from cost management to sustainability advice across all industry sectors. With a focus on adding value swiftly, applying innovation consistently, and building trust implicitly, they are expanding their team due to growth and are looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Provide pre-contract cost control and advice to Design Teams and Clients.

Prepare pre-contract documentation.

Manage all post-contract functions, including interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, and final account reconciliations on diverse projects.

Oversee the training and development of assistant and junior Quantity Surveyors.

Estimate and plan costs, reporting directly to Clients.

Compile Bills of Quantities and Contract Documentation.

Prepare Cost Reports and Monthly Valuations.

Resolve contractual claims and attend meetings with Clients and Design Team Members.
