We are currently recruiting a Senior Radiographer for a Hospital in Cork, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and imaging examinations in line with Department of Radiology requirements.
  




• Coordinate and organise patient imaging within the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  




• Provide training and guidance to new Radiographers, student Radiographers, and trainee Radiologists.
  




• Contribute to and support the clinical education of student Radiographers.
  




• Assist in training new staff members on equipment use and departmental protocols.
  




• Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining procedures, expected waiting times, and addressing any concerns.
  




• Review radiology requests to confirm accuracy, including patient details, LMP status, clinical indications, and any potential hazards.
