Reports to: Regulatory & Investor Reporting Manager 

Apex Risk Technologies (ART) is a leading fintech firm and a critical part of the Apex Group, a global financial services provider. ART clients include alternative investment funds, banks, and fund management companies (ManCo’s).   At ART, we have a passion for finance and technology with a strong commitment to research and development to continuously innovate and improve client solutions within an open and collegiate environment. ART’s core solution is RiskMonitor®, which provides an independent appraisal of investment risk compliance and financial risk exposures. RiskMonitor® produces customisable risk reporting suitable for boards, risk committees and investors as well as risk data required for regulatory submissions.   

ART is a fast-growing business and we are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Officer to join our team in Limerick, Ireland. In this role, you will liaise with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers and Investment Analysts to onboard their funds in RiskMonitor®, produce regulatory reports in accordance with UCITS and AIFMD directives and be involved in the daily maintenance of their accounts. In addition, you will closely work with the quantitative development team in Barcelona and Apex technology management colleagues globally to ensure the successful evolution of the ART business unit within Apex. Lastly, you will collaborate with business partners, technology vendors, client counterparties, and colleagues within the Apex Group. This role would suit someone who’s seeking a career in finance and technology with a keen and demonstrable interest in regulatory reporting.   

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Draft, coordinate and review of UCITS and PRIIP Key Investor Information documentation, including risk indicator, monthly performance scenarios. 

  • Prepare, review of quarterly/annual AIF, AIFMD returns under ESMA/FCA requirements. (Annex IV reporting) 

 

  • Set up and prepare investor Monthly Factsheets for Investment Funds. 

  • Prepare, coordinate and review of European PRIIP (EPT) and European MIFID Templates (EMT) 

  • Prepare, coordinate and review of European ESG templates (EET) in accordance with SFDR and SFDR 2.0 requirements. 

  • Prepare/review other reporting required by the regulators in Luxembourg (CSSF), Ireland (CBI) and United Kingdom (FCA). 

  • Follow-up with clients and service providers regarding any issues raised until resolution. 

  • Collaborate with Promoters of each ART client to ensure compliance with UCITS VI, MIFID, KIID, AIFMD 2.0 and overall corporate governance. 

  • Keep up to date with new regulations. Support in interpretation of new regulations on how the fund/investors will be affected. 

  • Actively participate in quarterly, monthly service review meetings 

  • Assist with any ad hoc queries received from clients. 

  • Ensure supporting procedures are accurate and kept up to date. 

The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • Strong academic background including a MSC in Accounting/Finance/Economics/IT or related field; 

  • Proven in-depth knowledge of European Regulated Investment Products, UCITS, AIFMD and Fund regulatory requirements. 

  • Proven experience in Regulatory Reporting, Financial Reporting or Audit environment 

  • Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills 

  • Ability to work under own initiative 

  • Ability multi-task and work under pressure and to deadlines 

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
