Job Description - Site Manager - New-Build Social Housing Development

Role: Site Manager

Client: Residential/Commercial Contractor

Essentials: 3+ years experience as a Site Manager in Ireland, strong paperwork/admin experience, Procore experience

Location: North/West Dublin Sites

Salary: Up to €80,000

Package: Car, Fuel Card, Bonus, Pension

Reporting to: Project Manager

Oversee daily site operations, coordinating direct labour and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to programme.

Manage project programmes, undertaking short-term planning and monitoring progress against key milestones.

Coordinate design development and maintain effective communication with the project team and key stakeholders.

Ensure all construction activities meet required quality standards, project specifications, and statutory regulations.

Lead all aspects of site health and safety, promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring full legislative compliance.

Monitor commercial performance, overseeing subcontractor packages, procurement, cost control, and budget management.

Chair and lead site coordination meetings, resolving issues and driving programme delivery.

Liaise with clients, design teams, utility providers, local authorities, and other third-party stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide leadership and direction to site personnel through effective delegation, mentoring, and performance management.
