Spinal Nurse - Part -time

• Identify and assess potential spinal surgery candidates during pre-admission and post-discharge, facilitating post-acute discharge planning and appropriate referrals.
  




• Act as a resource and point of contact for spinal patients attending other departments within or outside the hospital for treatment.
  




• Collaborate with the surgeon to coordinate patient care effectively.
  




• Coordinate and communicate patient information while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  




• Assist in the development and delivery of teaching and training programmes.
  

Requirements

• Current NMBI registration.
  




• Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience is desirable.
  




• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
  




• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  




• Ability to work independently, use initiative and demonstrate self-motivation.
