Sr Process Scientist

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking a Senior Process Scientist to join our Process Sciences team in Raheen, Limerick.

In this role, you will provide scientific leadership and technical expertise to support manufacturing operations, process investigations, process validation, and technology transfer activities. You will work across multiple functions to solve complex process challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support the delivery of medicines to patients worldwide.

• Shift Requirements: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday
• Location: Raheen, Limerick, Ireland
• Flexibility & Travel: Limited travel may be required
• Other Requirements: Participation in manufacturing support, investigations, and cross-functional project activities as needed

What You'll Do

• Deliver scientific and process solutions that support manufacturing operations and process performance.
• Lead complex process investigations and determine root causes of process-related deviations using data-driven scientific approaches.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Author and present technical reports that summarize study outcomes, investigations, and process enhancements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for technology transfer and process validation activities.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits, and submission activities by providing scientific and technical expertise.
• Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional and leadership teams, influencing decision-making.
• Coach and mentor junior scientists, supporting their technical and professional development.

• Requires routine interaction with laboratory, manufacturing, and office environments.
• May require gowning and entry into classified manufacturing areas.
• Involves regular use of computers and data analysis tools.
• Requires standing, walking, and collaboration across manufacturing and support areas.
• May involve participation in process observations, investigations, and troubleshooting activities on the manufacturing floor.

• PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related scientific discipline; or
• Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related scientific discipline with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, technical investigations, or process development activities.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and scientific writing capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
