Staff Nurse - Minor Procedures and Dressing Clinic

We are hiring a Staff Nurse â€“ Minor Operations Procedure Room for a hospital located in Tralee, Ireland.

Part-Time Permanent Contract – 32 hours per week

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in accordance with NMBI professional standards.
  




• Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide peri-procedural nursing care.
  




• Assess, manage and evaluate acute, chronic and post-operative wound care, including patient education.
  




• Promote continuity of care through coordinated follow-up and effective liaison with the multidisciplinary team.
  




• Participate in service development, clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.
  




• Work in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, HIQA National Standards and JCI Accreditation Standards.
  

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
  




• Minimum of two years’ post-registration clinical experience.
  




• Experience in minor procedures, perioperative nursing or wound care is desirable.
  




• Wound management qualification or willingness to undertake relevant education.
  




• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.
