Staff Nurse - Surgical Ward

• Deliver high-quality pre-, peri-, and post-procedure nursing care and support the effective management of patient care within the unit
  




• Provide safe, comprehensive, and patient-centred nursing care in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, with minimal supervision
  




• Manage the care and treatment of elective patients, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice are maintained
  




• Develop, implement, and document individualised care plans based on patient needs and best practice guidelines
  




• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control standards
  




• Promote and maintain the safety, health, and wellbeing of patients, while respecting their dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
  




• Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained and managed in line with hospital policies and relevant legislation
  




• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  




• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other members of the healthcare team
  




• Practice within the professional guidelines set by NMBI and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards
  




• Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other departments and areas of the hospital as required
