Job Description - Tax Manager

A leading organisation in the Energy & Infrastructure sector is seeking a Tax Manager to support the Head of Tax in a high -impact, strategic role within a complex international group.

Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will play a key role in delivering the Group Tax strategy, ensuring strong governance, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to manage tax risk proactively and opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pragmatic, commercial tax advice to business units and senior stakeholders
Support transactions, business cases, and forecasting from a tax perspective
Lead corporation tax compliance for Irish and UK entities
Oversee tax provisioning for reporting, statutory accounts, and forecasts
Manage transfer pricing compliance and documentation (CbCR, ILR, UK CIR)
Maintain and enhance the Tax Control Framework, including SAO compliance
Lead tax forecasting aligned with business planning cycles
Ensure compliance with Pillar II and sustainability reporting requirements
Drive process improvements and tax technology initiatives
Partner across teams and represent Tax on cross -functional projects

About you

10+ years’ tax experience with CTA (or equivalent) and 7+ years PQE
Strong technical expertise across corporate tax, compliance, and reporting
Experience with data analytics tools (e.g. Power Query, Alteryx)
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Ability to deliver independently in a fast -paced environment
