Trade counter assistant

A well-established hardware and home improvement retailer in Callan, Co. Kilkenny is looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide helpful advice.


• Serve customers at the trade counter and process sales accurately.


• Maintain stock levels and keep the store, counter and yard clean and organised.


• Assist with customer orders, collections and general yard duties.


• Provide excellent customer service and support the wider team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in retail, trade counter or a similar environment.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.


• Knowledge of building materials and hardware products would be an advantage.
