Xero Financial Platform Bookkeeper

Grouper is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bookkeeper  with great Xero Platform experience to help reveiw our xero platform setup, configuration and various operaitonal activites of the platform.  As we continue to expand and evolve in the realm of data safeguarding and cybersecurity, your role will be crucial in managing our financial transactions and supporting our mission to provide top-notch strategic consulting. Reporting directly to the Directors, this position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at handling the financial intricacies of our business.

 Your Responsibilities:

Manage Financial Transactions: Process and record payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision. Ensure all data is accurately entered into our accounting systems and maintain meticulous records.

Prepare Financial Statements: Develop and present monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets, providing clear insights into our financial health.

Complete VAT Returns: Accurately prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Account Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile business accounts, promptly addressing any discrepancies and supporting the Accountant in maintaining financial accuracy.

Administrative Assistance: Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including supporting the Accountant with the preparation of yearly accounts and financial documents.

Vendor Management: Process vendor payments and track bank account balances to maintain our financial stability.

Financial Accuracy: Monitor for inconsistencies in financial accounts and work with the Accountant to rectify any errors, ensuring the integrity of our financial data.

Operational Management: Ensure smooth daily operations of the office and provide support where needed.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teams across different locations to maintain unified and effective financial operations.
