Role Overview
Delphos is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team. The Associate will play a key role in structuring, analyzing, and executing financial instruments that enhance liquidity and investment potential for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment where you will engage with investors, financial institutions, and private sector players in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Structuring: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and project materials. Assist in structuring and compiling credit documentation across live deals.
- Market & Investor Research: Conduct market research to identify investment opportunities and institutional investor interest in emerging markets products.
- Transaction Support: Assist in the preparation of offering documents, investor presentations, and transaction execution.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess pricing, returns, and risk exposures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, institutional investors, credit rating agencies, and legal advisors to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Requirements
- Excellent command of English. Fluency in Italian, and/or other language is considered a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. First-class academic credentials.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial advisory, structured finance, private credit, investment banking, or debt capital markets.
- Knowledge of structured credit, financial guarantees or emerging markets is a strong advantage.
- Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for investor-facing presentations and reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders.
