The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead and scale our business across Italy. This role requires someone with Go-To-Market expertise, as well as top-tier enterprise sales skills. We're seeking someone who thrives on face-to-face client execution and is eager to roll up their sleeves to close complex, high-value B2B deals. You will work closely with global leadership, product, and operations teams to ensure strong alignment between market needs and product delivery.
The role can be based in one of two regional clusters: North, in or near Trentino-Alto Adige or Emilia-Romagna, the country’s principal apple-growing regions; or South, in or near Puglia, Calabria or Apulia, home to Italy’s major table grape and citrus production. A central location such as Bologna, which offers strong connectivity to both clusters, would also be considered. Commercial responsibility extends across the relevant cluster, and the role requires regular travel across the assigned regions to cover growers, co-ops and packing operations. Candidates should expect to spend a significant share of their working time on the road.
