Chef de Rang at Luxury 5 Star Resort in Italy

We are looking for an experienced and service -oriented Chef de Rang to join the service team at a luxury 5 -star resort, located in the Lake Lugano area (Cima di Porlezza, Italy).

In this role, you will independently manage your own station during breakfast and dinner service, ensuring a seamless, high -quality guest experience. You will act as the key point of contact for guests in your section, delivering attentive service in line with luxury hospitality standards while coordinating and supporting junior team members.

• Independent management of your assigned station during breakfast and dinner service
  
• Taking orders and ensuring accurate communication with the kitchen
  
• Presenting dishes and providing basic wine service
  
• Opening and serving wine according to service standards
  
• Supervising and guiding the Commis de Rang within your section
  
• Using the POS/cash register system accurately
  
• Ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and maintaining high service standards
  
• Working in alignment with luxury 5★ hospitality expectations
  

• Seasonal contract (minimum 4 months, until 25 October 2026)
  
• Immediate start, subject to candidate availability
  
• Competitive net salary: €1,900 – €2,000 per month
  
• Overtime paid according to Italian labour law and CCNL (must be pre -authorised)
  
• Accommodation included: single room in shared apartment (max. 2 people per apartment), located 2–3 km from the resort
  
• No housing costs or salary deductions
  
• Staff meals provided during working shifts
  
• 50 working hours per week with legally compliant rest periods
  
• Variable shifts (usually split shifts covering breakfast and dinner service)
  
• Work in a luxury 5★ resort at Lake Lugano
