German speaking nanny needed in Milano #39630

A lovely family based in the Ticinese area of Milan are looking for an experienced, live out German speaking nanny to care for their two young children, a little girl aged 3 and a baby boy aged 1 month old. The baby currently has the support of a maternity nurse until September, and the family are now looking to secure a warm, bubbly, positive and friendly nanny who can become a long term part of their family for many years to come. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, engaging and genuinely passionate about supporting children’s learning and development through play, routine and a caring approach.

The role will involve all nursery duties including maintaining a safe and organised environment for the children, hygiene and childcare, organising daily routines, sleep training support, preparing milk and assisting with feeding, packing bags as required, and cleaning and caring for items directly related to the children.

This is a fully staffed household where the family also employ a chef, cleaner, maternity nurse and additional staff, therefore it is important that the nanny is confident working within a team environment whilst also being comfortable in a predominantly sole charge role. Travel is required for approximately 30 days per year, as the family enjoy spending time in the Alps and countryside, so they are looking for somebody adventurous, flexible and happy to accompany them on trips.

The position is Monday to Friday for around 40 hours per week, typically starting at 8am and finishing around 5pm/6pm. This is a live out position, however the family are able to assist with accommodation as part of the salary package if required. A confident driver would be preferred for occasional driving duties. The family are ideally looking for a native German speaking candidate with excellent experience caring for children of similar ages, who is warm, proactive and looking for a long term role within a lovely family environment. The anticipated start date is September 2026, although the family can offer flexibility for the right candidate.
