Our technology starts with you.\n\nYOUR ROLE\n\nThe successful candidate will become a member of the R\u0026D CVD, Diffusion, Epitaxy team playing a critical role in developing new processes, and optimizing them to improve product robustness, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, aiming to finally scale up to high-volume manufacturing.\n\nDevelop, implement, and optimize new processes of thin film deposition for new and existing MEMS products in chemical vapor deposition area (i.e. LPCVD, PECVD, ALD, Epitaxy).\n\nCollaborate closely with design, device engineering team, quality, and production teams to ensure seamless process integration. \n\nSet up new experiments through DOE methodology and pilot runs to validate process changes and improvements\n\nAnalyze process data and troubleshoot issues to reach process qualification and enhance yield and reduce variability.\n\nPrepare detailed documentation including process flow charts, work instructions, and validation protocols for manufacturing usage\n\nSupport scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot and full production scale\n\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards fulfilling sustainability roadmap\n\nContinuously identify opportunities for process innovation and automation.\n\n \n\nYOUR SKILLS \u0026 EXPERIENCES\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\n * Assist in the development, characterization, and optimization of thin film deposition for MEMS devices in the R\u0026D group.\n * Support process integration activities.\n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, process engineering, and metrology to ensure process robustness and yield improvement.\n * Perform data analysis and documentation of experimental results, maintaining accurate process records.\n * Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of process deviations or defects.\n * Stay updated on emerging semiconductor process techniques and MEMS fabrication trends to support continuous process innovation.\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n * Master\u2019s degree in materials science, physics, chemistry, materials engineering or related fields\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced R\u0026D environment.\n * Ability to analyze complex data and apply statistical process control (SPC)\n * Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.\n * Basic understanding of semiconductor/MEMS fabrication processes is a plus.\n\n\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\n * Proactive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.\n * Curiosity and continuous learning: Enthusiasm for staying updated on latest MEMS technologies and process advancements\n * Adaptability: Flexibility to manage changing priorities\n * Problem-solving mindset: Proactive in identifying issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\n * Time management: Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.\n * Hands-on experience in MEMS process development and microfabrication techniques\n\n\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
