MISSION

The Runner plays a dynamic, fast-paced role on the retail team, serving as the critical operational bridge between the back-of-house (BOH) stockroom and the sales floor (FOH). Reporting directly to the Store Operations Manager, the Runner ensures continuous stock flow, lightning-fast product retrieval for Sales Associates, and optimal sales floor replenishment to maximize conversion and minimize customer wait times. In addition to operational stock flow, the Runner actively engages in direct selling on the floor, contributes to achieving store commercial targets, and provides logistical support for in-store workshops and external partnership events. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Direct Sales, Floor Support & Commercial Targets 

• Direct Sales & Target Achievement: Actively participate in direct selling and customer interaction on the shop floor, assisting clients with product inquiries, suggesting complementary items, and directly contributing to store sales goals and main KPIs.  
• On-Site Representation & Promotion: On-site representation, sales, and workshop promotion.  
• Real-Time Floor Support: Partner directly with floor staff and Dream Makers by rapidly retrieving requested sizes, product categories, and customization materials from the stockroom during client fittings.  

• Client Engagement & Registration: Offer a warm welcome to clients, passionately share Golden Goose product heritage, and ensure customers are properly registered on the Golden App for CRM profiling. 

   

2. External Partnerships & Workshop Support (Non-Managerial Role) 

• Workshop Material Readiness: Assist in transporting, setting up, and clearing materials, tools, and stock required for in-store workshops and creative activations.  

• Partner Activation Support: Provide operational and stockroom support during external partner events and local PR activations (managing stock flow, packaging, and space logistics), without participating directly in the active execution or facilitation of workshops.  

   

3. Stock Flow, Replenishment & Operations 

• Floor Replenishment: Monitor sales floor display levels continuously, executing swift replenishment from the stockroom to maintain pristine visual presentation and maximum product availability.  
• Stock Movements & Transfers: Assist the Stock Keeper and Store Operations Manager with incoming shipments, unpacking, sensor tagging, stock arrangement, cycle counts, and inter-store transfers.  
• Omnichannel & Packaging Support: Support pre- and after-sales operations, including packing customer purchases, preparing e-commerce/omnichannel orders, and processing returns.  
• Stockroom & Floor Safety: Maintain clean, safe, and highly organized stockroom pathways and floor service areas, adhering to company health & safety standards, GDPR guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.  

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Fluency in Italian and English. Additional language knowledge will be considered as a plus, reflecting our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Effective Communication: Clear, quick, and thoughtful communication with FOH and BOH teams. 

High Energy & Agility: Fast-paced physical execution with excellent time management under busy floor conditions. 

Active Team Player: Collaborative spirit, supporting Sales Associates, Dream Makers, and Stock Keepers seamlessly. 

Adaptability: High flexibility to shift between direct selling support, stock replenishment, and event setup. 

Problem Solver: Quick to locate products, resolve sizing stock queries, and keep service flowing smoothly
