Sales Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding | Genoa

We are supporting an international logistics and freight forwarding company in the search for an experienced Sales Manager based in Genoa.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of business development and customer growth in the Italian market, within a growing international organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Italian market


• Identify and secure new business opportunities across sea, air, road and multimodal freight


• Build and manage relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders


• Lead commercial meetings, negotiations, presentations and contract discussions


• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and achievement of commercial targets


• Coordinate freight quotations with Operations and Procurement


• Monitor market trends, customer needs, competition and freight rates


• Maintain accurate CRM reporting and sales activity tracking


• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs and networking opportunities


• Work closely with Operations to ensure strong customer service and retention

The profile:

• 5+ years of sales experience within logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain


• Strong understanding of international freight and logistics


• Proven track record in business development and generating new business


• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills


• Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach


• Experience working with CRM and sales reporting tools


• Fluent Italian and English


• Comfortable working independently in an international environment
